No matter what industry you work in, the competition and consequent struggles are always on the rise! And to make matters worse, the income levels don’t necessarily rise with the economic inflation rates. In situations like these, for cash-strapped ride share drivers, working for extra hours is the only option left. While there are various ways in the market to enable drivers to earn better, there is sadly no assurance of it giving guaranteed better returns.
With the start of 2019 however, things took a positive turn for the ride share drivers in Australia. Grabox, an Australian startup has introduced the concept of an in-car convenience store offering extra income for ride share drivers. This convenience store is installed in the ride sharing vehicles from which riders can purchase items like snacks, drinks, confectionery items and a lot more. By simply equipping their vehicle with this box (which FYI is free of cost for the drivers!), drivers can sell items that are present in the box, in exchange for a sales commission.
Drivers can earn up to $100 to $200 extra per month, along with better ratings from their riders!
